Mount Pleasant Workskills Academy
The Mount Pleasant Manufacturers Association and the Center for Business at Southeastern Community College (SCC) created the Mount Pleasant Work Skills Academy in 2007. The goal of the Academy is to provide on-going skills enhancement training for incumbent employees. The Academy is designed to help Mount Pleasant Manufacturers upgrade skills in their current workforce pool that are difficult to attract and retain, thereby creating the talent they need from within. Current courses are focused on electrical, electronic, and mechanical skill sets. For more information, contact the Center for Business at 319-752-2731.
