AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service, preparing tax returns and answering tax questions free of charge. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is offered in conjunction with the IRS. The program’s mission is to provide high quality free income tax assistance and tax form preparation to low- and moderate-income taxpayers, with special attention to those age 60 and older.

Stop by the Pizza Ranch for dinner and support IWC students! Pizza Ranch will donate all tips and a portion of the evening's proceeds to the Iowa Wesleyan students travelling to Rwanda in May as a Global Issues service trip. Nine students will travel to Rwanda May 7-18, where they will assist in medical outreach clinics, deliver water chlorination systems and volunteer in an orphanage. An episode of the BBC comedy "The Vicar of Dibley" will be shown. The show is loosely based on the experiences of Anglican priest Joy Carroll, who will be speaking at Iowa Wesleyan College on February 9. Come enjoy the program. It's free! Popcorn provided.
Family Video will be putting on a Madden 12 Tournament. 16 people will be able to enter and play against other Family Video customers. This will be a 3 weekend event. Heartfest (Tuesday, February 14)
Some of the services offered this year will include pulmonary function tests, a hearing test, blood pressure checks, health risk assessments, diabetes risk analyses, and a wellness screening that includes glucose and a lipid profile; total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol, ratios, and triglycerides. There will also be door prizes and educational materials available. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive healthcare information and visit with Henry County Health Center’s department staff.
Be sure to treat yourself and a loved one to our “Sweetheart of a Meal Deal” for only $5 per person.
