Le Chic Boutique Takes First Place at the 2011 Fun Day Golf Outing

For 2011, the Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Members and their associates were invited to enjoy an afternoon of golfing, food, networking, and fundraising at the Mount Pleasant Golf & Country Club. This annual event is one of the MPACC's longest running activities and has always had outstanding participation from our Chamber Members - 2011 was no different. The 36th annual event drew 96 golfers and included lunch, a goodie bag, 9 holes of golf, and evening appetizers. Our congratulations go to Le Chic Boutique, a new Chamber member for 2011, winning the tournament.  Many raffle prizes were donated from Chamber Members to award during the event. Our thanks goes to Amy Becker Photography, Becker's Jewelery, Golden Eagle, Iowa Wesleyan College Golf Team, Momentus Golf, Veyance Technology and Walmart for their donations of raffle prizes.

"The Fun Day Golf Outing is a great event that encourages Chamber Members to relax, play 9 holes of golf and network among friends and business acquaintances.  No matter what the skill level, the members have an enjoyable day." said Judy Marshall, Membership Coordinator for the MPACC.
