Look for details on a 2010 golf outing to come!  Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Members and their associates are invited to enjoy an afternoon of golfing, food, networking, and fundraising at the Mount Pleasant Golf & Country Club during the MPACC's Fun Day Golf Outing. This annual event is one of the MPACC's longest running activities and always has outstanding participation from our Chamber Members. The day includes lunch, 9 holes of golf, and a delicious dinner and raffle. Dozens of raffle prizes are donated from Chamber Members to award during the event. Fun Day Golf Outing is always held on the first Friday in August from 11:30am to 7:00 pm. Look for team sign up forms available in June.

Midwest Old Threshers Takes First Place at the 2008 Fun Day Golf Outing

The Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce (MPACC) 2008 FUNdraising Day Golf Outing took place on Friday, August 1st at the Mt. Pleasant Golf & Country Club.  The 33rd annual event drew 100 golfers participating for nine holes of golf in the afternoon.  The event began with registration and lunch at noon, and tee off at 1:00pm with a dinner and program at 6:00pm. 

“The Fun Day Golf Outing is a fun event for our Members, whether they enter a team in the outing or volunteer at various activities throughout the course,” said Joann Schinstock, Program Coordinator for the MPACC. 

Midwest Old Threshers took first place in first flight followed by  C&M Cooling Heating & Plumbing in second place.  “The MPACC would like to thank all the sponsors, the prize contributors and the Mt. Pleasant Golf & Country Club for making this year’s event a great success!” Schinstock said.
